Forbes transfered to UMFK in 2012 where she was a member of the 2009 All-American Team as a Goal Keeper for Coach Sal Galuano. Forbes was a under 20 Co-Captain for her native Trinidad & Tobago National Women's Team and is the current starting goalkeeper on the national women's team. Forbes was named a 2012 USCAA All-American as she anchored the Bengal defense recording nine shutouts and compiling a 15-1 record in goal during the 2012 season.
