Senior forward Othniel Hyliger (Sandy Point, St. Kitts) recorded a double-double with 18 points and 15 rebounds, including his 1,000 career point midway through the first half, in a 64-58 win over St. Thomas University (Fredericton, Canada) Sunday afternoon in Fort Kent, Maine. UMFK (2-0) picked up their second win in as many days and will play next Saturday November 5 against Roberts Wesleyan (Rochester, New York) at the Fisher Classic in Lynn, Massachusetts.

On Sunday in Fort Kent, Hyliger went over career point one thousand on a lay-up in the first half. He was eight of seventeen from the field and eight of his fifteen rebounds were offensive. Jeremy Thomas (Jr., Guard, Detroit, Michigan) added 16 points and five assists in the win. Adam Bouchard (Sr., Fort Kent, Maine) scored five of his seven points in a crucial stretch late in the second half to secure the win for UMFK.

St. Thomas (3-2) was led by Corey Delong and Brent Kingston who scored 14 and 10 points respectively.
