Jeremy Thomas had a game-high 25 points on 8-for-12 shooting as the U-Maine Fort Kent men’s basketball got a 67-60 win over Fisher College in the Colby College Men's Basketball Invitational on Saturday. UMFK improves to 5-5 overall, plays at Aroostook County rival UMaine Presque Isle Saturday December 10 at 3pm.
Thomas also shot 6-for-6 from the foul line for the Bengals who were 15-for-18 from the foul line to Fisher (2-8) who had just a 4-for-7 effort.
Yoshives Belizaire (Miramar, Fla.) added 10 points, while Manny Odugbela (Providence, R.I.) had nine for the Bengals. Othniel Hyliger (Sandy Point, St. Kitts) contributed eight points and a game-high 11 rebounds for UMFK and small forward Pablo Llamas (Leon, Spain) had a game-high five assists.
Dennis Norfold (New Haven, Conn.) led Fisher with 19 points and 10 rebounds.
