Game Recap

Junior small forward Pablo Llamas scored 21points, grabbed nine boards, dished out five assists and had three blocks while senior guard Manny Odugbela added 20 points, six assists and six boards to lead UMFK (12-6) over USCAA D2 #11 ranked Central Maine 75-67 Sunday afternoon in Auburn, Maine.  UMFK will host SUNY Canton this Saturday Jan. 21 at 3pm.

Sunday afternoon in Auburn, Maine, Llamas and Odugbela helped fuel a second half run which broke a 38-38 halftime deadlock. UMFK would race out to their largest lead of the day at 71-51 midway through the second. The Bengals then withstood a late CMCC rally to secure their 12th win of the year. Jeremy Thomas added 14 points and eight boards while junior small forward Yoshives Belizaire added 11 points. Odugbela also recorded a team-high six helpers while Llamas had nine boards, five assists and three blocks. 

The Bengals out-rebounded their hosts 50-37 and held them to 34% shooting (25-74). UMFK countered 23 turnovers with 25 assists and matched CMCC from behind the arch with 11 three-balls.
