Senior Manny Odugbela scored a game-high 17 points and handed out nine assists to help lead UMFK over SUNY Canton 80-63 in a USCAA men's basketball game in Fort Kent, Maine Saturday afternoon. UMFK will be back in action this Friday Jan. 27 when they travel to Maine Presque Isle to take on UMPI at 7:30pm.

Pablo Llamas added seven points, seven boards, seven assists and had a game-high four steals.  Forward Jan Brylowski and guard Jorge Matesanz added 11 points each for the Bengals who improved to 13-6 and have now won nine of their last ten. UMFK put together an impressive first half defensive performance holding the Roos (8-6) to just six points fifteen minutes into the game. The Bengals built a 48-16 lead by the break and then weathered a late SUNY Canton run to get the victory.

The Bengals had 17 assists and just 15 turnovers and out-rebounded the Roos 37-25 on the day. Khalid Vaughn led SUNY Canton with 15.
