U-Maine-Machias erased a 10 point half time deficit to pick up their first win of the year, 78-70 over U-Maine-Fort Kent in a USCAA match-up from Fort Kent, Maine Tuesday evening.

UMM (1-4) outscored the host Bengals (0-6) 53-48 in the second half for the convincing road win. Floyd Higgins led all scorers with 22 points and A.C Ford added 8 points and 10 assists for UMM.

UMFK was led by Yoshives Belizaire (Miramar, FL) with 20 points and Jorge Matesanz (Spain) who scored 16 points and dished out a team-high nine assists.
