Bengals 54 Match Win Streak Ends
October 18, 2017 • Syracuse, New York

Syracuse, New York—The University of Maine at Fort Kent men’s soccer team had their 54 match winning streak snapped on Sunday afternoon. The Bengals fell to Bryant & Stratton—Syracuse, a team they have beaten the past two years in the USCAA National Championship match, 3-1.

UMFK struck first when Mark Parchment found Miguel Barnaby to put the Bengals up 1-0.

Bryant & Stratton would score all three of their goals in a 10 minute stretch late in the first half, scoring all three goals against senior keeper Butch Forbes, who had only allowed three goals coming into the match all season.

UMFK will end their road trip against Fisher College on Tuesday afternoon. UMFK moves to 11-1 on the season.
