Lady Bengals Sink Clip Ship

Fort Kent, Maine-- The University of Maine at Fort Kent Women’s Volleyball team cruised past the visiting Clippers from the University of Maine at Machias Sunday afternoon in Fort Kent, Maine. The Bengals swept their opponent in straight sets in both matches (25-14, 25-6, 25-5; 25-3, 25-9, 25-14). The Bengals showed off an unmatched level of dominance over their opponent, only allowing the Clippers to reach double digits in points twice throughout both matches. The Bengals were especially impressive with their serving ability, as Haley West collected 9 aces on the day with no errors. The Bengals held serve multiple times throughout the matches for over 10 points at a time. The UMFK Women’s Volleyball team is currently ranked number 1 in the USCAA with a record of 14-4. Their next match is at home when they host Aroostook County rival, the University of Maine at Presque Isle on Wednesday, October 3rd at 5 PM.
