Cold Shooting Catches Up with Bengals
December 14, 2018 • Bangor, Maine

Bangor, Maine-- The UMFK Women's Basketball team had their worst shooting performance of the season Friday night on the road against Husson University. Despite being up three points to start the fourth quarter, the Bengals only scored four points in the final nine minutes and went scoreless in the final six minutes to eventually lose 60-48.

The dismal 18 of 82 shooting from the floor was by far their worst shooting of the season. And although they did a decent job defensively, they could not come up with the clutch baskets they needed down the stretch.

The Bengals record now sits at 9-2 with a game against Fisher College on Saturday afternoon. The Bengals will hope to avenge their only other loss of the season, a 77-67 defeat at the Villa Maria Tournament.
