Fort Kent, Maine—The 5th annual UMFK Summer Classic took place to large crowds at the Fort Kent Community High School and UMFK gymnasiums. Fans filled the bleachers to watch 22 Boy’s and Girl’s High School basketball teams from all over the state of Maine.

Six girl’s teams took the court in a round robin style tournament in which the Penobscot Valley High School Lady Howlers went 4-0 to take the title. In the Boy’s Yellow division, Calais squeaked out multiple victories by only one or two possessions to earn the title of Yellow Division champs! In the Green division, the Caribou Vikings were crowned champions of the UMFK Summer Classic for the third year in a row.
