Tough Tie between UMFK Bengals & Husson Eagles
October 3, 2021 • Fort Kent, ME

The Bengal's (Women's) earn their second tie results of the season against Husson this Sunday afternoon on UMFK's Historic Memorial Field. 

It was pretty even at the start of the game both teams equally competiting to be first on the ball. Husson's Brianna Saulter earned a PK scored goal at 33:34 on the clock. The Bengals finished the half scoreless but ready as ever to continue the battle against the Eagles. 

After a fiery half time with Coach Alex, The Bengals began the second half aggressive as ever in efforts to put a goal on the score board. At 84:58 Ryan Hernandez earned her first goal of the season off a free kick. 

UMFK and Husson battle it out for the remainderof the game. Both teams earning fouls and couple fo yellow cards as the refs did their best to officiate an intense battle. UMFK and Husson finish the game tied 1-1 pushing time to 2 over times of 10 mins each. 

As this was the last home game of the season, The Bengals head out on Oct 12th to Syracuse, NY to take on Bryant Stratton's Bobcats.
