On Thursday Oct 28th, the Women's Volleyball team travel down to Weston, MA to face Regis College. The Bengals walked away empty handed as they lost their last regular season game 1-3. Althought they lost the Bengals fought hard as they picked up their tempo in the second match.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
Regis College led defensively with 2 of their best defenders. Melendez picked up a career high of 13 digs and Sterenberg finished with 9 digs.
As for the offense Dow led with a career high of 15 kills followed up by Montigny with 10 kills, and Tenerio with 8 kills.
As for the Bengals, Allora Somonton led with 13 kills. Abigal Thompson, Kaylee Neher and Danae Ford earned 7 kills a piece. On the defensive end Beatriz Garrido earned 17 assist and 10 digs while Carla Rogdriguez earned double- double with 16 assists and 12 digs. Halle Ham led with 2 service aces and 15 defensive digs.
Although the Bengals lost they are currently ranked #5 in the USCAA Polls and await their bid place in the USCAA National tournament that will take place in Virgnia Beach, VA.
