Ariane Laberge-Pelletier (Jr., Montreal, Canada) scored three second half goals to propel the University of Maine-Fort Kent to a 4-0 win over Maine Maritime Academy Sunday afternoon in college women’s soccer from Fort Kent, Maine. BOX SCORE

After a scoreless first half, UMFK responded with four second half scores led by Leberge-Pelletier who scored in the 47th, 55th and 75th minute. Kayla Richards (So., Presque Isle, Maine) added UMFK’s other goal and Victoria Dubois-Iredale (Montreal, Canada) had two assists on the day. UMFK outshot the visiting Lady Mariners 43-3 overall and 21-1 on goal. T.O Malley recorded twenty-one saves in the loss for MMA (1-4-1) while UMFK keep, Kimika Forbes (Sr., Trinidad & Tobago) made one save for her fourth shutout win of the year.

UMFK, who improved to 4-1 with the win, plays again this Thursday in the annual Potato Barrel Game vs. Aroostook County Rival U-Maine-Presque Isle. Game time is 1pm.
