Cassandra Soontiens (London, Ontario) has verbally committed to play soccer at the University of Maine at Fort Kent beginning in the fall of 2014. A midfielder, Soontiens was the team captain in 2013 for the Club Soccer Gryphons out of London, Ontario which is an under 17 team. In 2010 and 2012 Soontiens was team MVP and in 2011 and 2012 she received the Sportsmanship Award.

Soontiens is an Honor Student, School Council Member and School Senate member at Ecole secondaire Monseigneur Bruyere and is fluent in English and French.
