Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania- Sophomore Jake Rioux hit six 3's on his way to a career high 26 points. The Bengals trailed by one, 56-55 with 5:15 remaining but ended the game on a 16-3 run to beat Carlow University, 71-59.
Rioux hit the game turning 3 point shot as the shot clock expired with 4:47 remaining to put the Bengals up 2.
UMFK out rebounded Carlow 51-39, including 16 offensive rebounds.
Joe McCloskey had 26 points. Marquis Glenn had 8 points and 9 rebounds. Niko Vukosavovic, Benson Arogbo and Rosevelt Smith Jr. each had 8 rebounds.
Carlow was led by Zack Taylor's 14 points, including three 3 pointers. PJ McLaughlin had 11 and 6 rebounds.
