Bengals Drop Close One
February 7, 2016 • Lynn, Massachusetts

Lynn, MA- The University of Maine at Fort Kent men's basketball team dropped a 73-68 decision to USCAA #4 ranked Washington Adventist of Maryland on Saturday evening.

WAU ended the game on a 23-12 run over the final 8:36 to beat the Bengals. Washington Adventist out rebound UMFK 60-38, and had 19 offensive rebounds. The loss drops UMFK to 19-14.

Washington Adventist was led by Brian Bridgeforth's 21 points and 12 rebounds and Eric Lindsay hit five three pointers on his way to 19 points.

UMFK was led by Qaadir Ali's 22 points and Mauro Vicic hit six threes for his 18.

UMFK finishes its regular season with a home contest on senior night, Wednesday Feb 10 at 7:30pm against UMPI.
