Pepper Pike, Ohio-- The University of Maine at Fort Kent women's soccer team won their first contest of the 2017 season, by defeating Rochester College 3-1 on Saturday afternoon.
Senior midfielder Kendra Freund Open the scoring in the six minute as she knocked in a rebound from a shot by 2016 USCAA National Player of the Year, Sherifatu Sumaila.
