Bengals Comeback to beat Husson

Standish, Maine—The University of Maine at Fort Kent defeated Husson University on Friday evening in the opening match of the Saint Joseph College Fall Invitational, 3-1. The Bengals dropped the first set, but then won three consecutive sets, 23-25, 25-20, 25-18, 25-20. Junior Mia Satterfield led the way with 14 kills. Haley West had 26 assists and UMFK got 32 digs from junior Kamalani Kahele, who also helped turn the tied with six service aces in the triumph.

For Husson, junior Kaitlyn Woods notched a double-double with 14 kills and 10 digs, sophomore Hanna Hembrow contributed 25 assists and 12 digs, and senior Lindsay Chapman posted seven kills in 26 attempts.
