Albany, NY—The UMFK Bengals overcame another slow first half start to pound Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences, 81-61 to move their record to 8-7. Down once again at halftime after shooting 30% and scoring just 27 points, the Bengals put together a great second half outscoring their opponents, 54-29 in the half. UMFK shot 56% from the floor and made 13-14 foul shots to seal the deal in the second half.

Qaadir Ali and Joe McCloskey each had 17 points to lead the way for the Bengals. McCloskey had to sit for 17 minutes of the first half after picking up his second foul. He also had 7 rebounds, 3 steals and 3 assists all in just 17 minutes of playing time. Marquis Glenn had 10 points and 8 rebounds and Rosevelt Smith Jr. put together a tremendous second half with 12 points and 9 rebounds, all coming in the second 20 minutes.

ACPHS was led by Brandon Votra’s 19 points and 7 rebounds.
