There are no upcoming games currently scheduled. Please check back at a later time.
Fort Kent, Maine-- With only six available players for the night, the UMFK Men's Basketball team put forth an inspiring effort in their home victory against Green Mountain College on Friday evening in The Jungle.
The Bengals started off hot from downtown connecting on multiple 3-point shots to build a 20 to 5 lead early in the first half. The lead ballooned to 19 points at halftime, however, the second twenty minutes of the contest proved to the country that the Bengals are one of the toughest teams in the nation. Jacob Powell, Pat Pawels, Jarid Walton, Chance Cole and Kwame Oduro played as one strong unit and made timely shots down the stretch to earn the W for the Bengals.
The 2-3 zone of UMFK gave the visiting Eagles fits throughout the night and despite cutting the lead to one possession, the Bengals never lost the lead. Coach Bird's limited squad put forth a valiant effort and rightfully earned another notch in the win collumn.
