The University of Maine at Fort Kent Track & Field Program competed in it's first meet of the year and second in program history Saturday at the Bowdoin College Invitational.

The Bengals had two event winners with Mandy Graham (Presque Isle, Maine) winning the 5k in a time of 20:43 and Nick Gayle (St Elizabeth, Jamaica) winning the 60m dash in 7.32 seconds. 

Other meet highlights included Joe Enerva (Fort Kent, Maine) placing 3rd out of 8 men in the shot put, Jordan Maxwell (Montego Bay, Jamaica) sprinting to 3rd out of 10 competitors in the women's 60m dash, Vinnette Blake (Westmoreland, Jamaica) finishing 4th out of 13 women in the 200m, and Yannick Kasongo setting the indoor school record in the long jump.
