Albany, New York--The University of Maine at Fort Kent women's soccer team defeated Albany College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences on Saturday afternoon, 4-1. This was the first victory for Coach Larry Simpson, who took over this week for the departing Lucas Levesque. UMFK defeated ACPHS in the 2015 USCAA National Championship match.

Freshman Tolu Oyeniyi scored a hat trick, the first of her career as a UMFK Bengal to lead the charge.`Oyeniyi scored her first goal 12 minutes into the contest from a feed from reigning USCAA Player of the Year, Sherifatu Sumaila. Albany tied the game in the 32nd minute when USCAA leading scorer Katie Benson put a ball past keeper Valentina Green. That would be about it for ACPHS as UMFK outshot their opponents 30-6 on the afternoon.

Sumaila would add her 8th goal of the season in the 35th minute and would assist Oyeniyi's third goal of the contest later in the second half.
