On this past Sunday afternoon, the Bengals played in their last regular season game against the UMPI owls at Gerig Johnson Complex. Although it was pretty chilly, the Bengals remained warm and focused to close out their season on a good note. Bengals beat the Owls 4-0. 

During the first half the Bengals kept majority of the possesions but kept coming up short as they dished out 24 shots with 16 of them on goal while the Owls were only able to attempt 4 shots, 3 of them on goal. Tarece Lawerence and Dominique Valadez were both a major force on the defensive end. Both teams entered the half scoreless. With 45 minutes to go, The Bengals picked up their intensity scoring all 4 goals in the second half. The first goal was scored by Angely Carreno at 51:18, followed by Yuliana Sanchez at 60:57, Brittney Thompson at 65:07 and lastly followed up by Dora Cacari at 75:12. 

Next the Bengals await their bid entrance for the USCAA National Tournament taking place in Virginia, Beach. Stay tuned to find out their placing as they are currently ranked #1 in the USCAA polls.
