Grew joined the UMFK program in 2012 from nearby Central Aroostook High School where she starred at point guard and shooting guard for Coach Storie Shaw. Grew, a native of Mars Hill, Maine, was team MVP during her senior year when she helped lead her team to the Eastern Maine State Class D State Championship. She was also named a State of Maine Class C-D East McDonalds All-Star and appeared in the MBR All-Star game for three straight years.
