Game Recap

Fort Kent, Maine-- The UMFK Women's Basketball team pushed their season record to 12-2 tonight with a victory at home against Green Mountain College. In the first game back after a holiday break, the Bengals picked up right where they left off with creating turnovers, pushing the pace, and knocking down 3-point shots.

Despite a number of injuries, the eight available players all contributed mightily and got themselves in the scoring column.

Lauren Lacey was tremendous from beyond the arc connecting on 3-point baskets in both halves, she was also a beast on the glass compiling eight rebounds.

The Bengals will travel to Connecticut on January 8th for a match up with Wesleyan College as their next game.
