Game Recap

The U-Maine-Fort Kent women's basketball team dropped the first of back to back games to Virginia University Lynchburg 74-64 Saturday in Lynchburg, Virginia.  UMFK (6-5) will play the Lady Dragons again Sunday at 2pm.  UMFK is ranked #13 in the latest USCAA D1 Coaches Poll while VUL is #15.

VUL (5-6) forced 32 UMFK turnovers and held a 46-38 advantage on the boards.  UMFK was led by Ericka Christensen (So. Fwd Warren, Maine) who recorded a double-double with 18 points and 10 rebounds. Junior guard Jenn Colpitts (Scarborough, Maine) added 16 points in the loss.
