Katherine Ferland scored two goals and added an assist to lead the UMFK women's soccer team past U-Maine-Machias 6-0 Sunday in a USCAA match-up from Fort Kent, Maine Wednesday afternoon. UMFK improved to 9-1 while UMM droppped to 9-3-0. Kimika Forbes and Jessica Kozachuck combined to make 6 saves on 7 shots for the win. UMM keeper Jessica Bickford made 6 saves on 12 UMFK shots. UMFK who scored their first two goals off corner kicks, held a 10-3 advantage overall and outshot UMM 28-10.
