The U-Maine-Fort Kent men’s basketball team used a balanced attached and a big second half to defeat U-Maine-Augusta 90-68 in USCAA action Wednesday in Bangor, Maine.

UMFK (2-18) outscored UMA (8-16) 46-30 in the second half to pull away for the win and senior forward Yoshives Belizaire (Miramar, Florida) led four players in double figure scoring with 20 points and eight rebounds. Curtis Bouchard (Fr., G., Fort Kent, Maine) added 16 points and a team-high five assists and older brother Adam Bouchard (Sr., F, Fort Kent, Maine) had 13 points and three assists. Sophomore guard Jorge Matesanz (Sevilla, Spain) also reached double figures with 11 points.

Garrett Alley scored 19 points to lead UMA and Keith Chesley added 14 points and 11 rebounds. Emmitt Faulkner recorded 12 points and four assists and Walker Cooper had 11 points and four assists.
