Clippers get by Bengals
February 10, 2013 • Machias, Maine

The U-Maine Machias men's basketball team built a double digit first half lead in defeating the U-Maine Fort Kent 78-68 in a USCAA in-state match-up Sunday in Machias, Maine.

UMM had 27 assists and nailed 9 threes on the day while also holding a 44-34 edge on the glass to earn their seventh straight win improving to 13-10. UMFK fell to 2-22 on the year. Sophomore forward Jeremy Bishop (Montreal) scored a career-high 24 points in the loss for UMFK to go with 9 boards. Co-captain Yoshives Belizaire (Miramar, Florida) added 14 points and freshmen forward Andre Poux (Miami, Florida) collected a career-best 13 boards.
