Bengals Win 2nd Game of Holiday Classic

Media, Pennsylvania--The University of Maine at Fort Kent men's basketball team continued the best start in school history and lengthened their win streak to nine with a 104-80 victory over Cincinnati Clermont.

The Bengals used half court trapping defense to turn the Cougars over seven times in the opening eight minutes and opened up a 25-8 lead. CC would make a run to get the game to 43-34 at half time. UMFK then shot 58% in the second half and held their opponent to 7-34 from three point range to preserve the win.

Travis Harlin Jr. was named to the All-Tournament team as he led the Bengals with 26 points and 7 rebounds. Rosevelt Smith Jr. had a double double with 21 points and 11 rebounds. Stephon Bell and Will White both came off the bench to score 14 and Nikola Vukosavovic had 12 points and 5 rebounds.

Cincinnati Clermont was led by Alec Smith's double double of 18 points and 10 rebounds. Nick Vosel had 17, but was held to 3-10 from long range.
