Emlyn attended Randpark High School in Johannesburg, South Africa. He played soccer ("futbol") tennis, cricket and rugby. Emlyn played center mid for the Wits U Randburg AFC Soccer Club.
As a Bengal ...
Emlyn is a three time NAIA All-American Honorable Mention and team captain (2007, 2008 and 2009). He is the program's modern day (2000 - present) leader in career assists and has also been a Sunrise Conference 1st Team Member in each of his three seasons at UMFK. In 2007 his sophomore year, Emlyn led the NAIA in assists with 21. In 61 career games leading up his senior season, he has an astonishing 48 assists to go along with 25 goals for 121 total points. He is the prototypical Bengal on and off the field.
Off the Pitch ...
Emlyn has a younger brother, Spencer, who also plays for the UMFK Soccer Team as a sophomore back. Emlyn enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and friends as well as working out, watching movies, listening to music and surfing the net.
