Prior to UMFK ...

Melado is an experienced player who initially joined UMFK this season. He progressed through Titchfield high School and captained the team. Melado then transferred to STETHS high school where he captains that team for one year under Coach Andrew Edwards. Melado then went to West Virginia Institution of Technology where he was recorded as the highest in assist and second in goals in the 2009/2010 season.
