Lachance came to UMFK after playing soccer at Saint-Stanislas High School and for FC Challenger Mirabel under Coach and his father Michel Lachance as a defender. "PO" was also a member of the team that was named Provincial League Champions as well as Coupe Quebec Saputo finalist. At age 17, Lachnace was recruited by coach Ashby to play for the UMFK men's soccer team off his FC Challenger Club Team.
