Emlyn R. Jacoby

Jacoby was a member of the most successful soccer program in the University’s history. He was team captain; the 2007 Male Athlete of the Year; a two-time Academic All-American; three-time All-American honorable mention; four-time Sunrise Conference scholar-athlete; four-time Sunrise Conference first team member; and the 2006 Sunrise Conference Rookie-of-the-Year. Jacoby led his team to the 2007 national “Sweet 16” round, and in 2008 to the national “Elite 8” round. In 2009, he captained the Bengal team that attained number 4 in the national rankings. Jacoby did all of this while attaining a 3.7 grade point average.
