A native of Waterhouse in Kingston, Jamaica, Stephenson attended Excelsior High School before continuing her collegiate career at Southwestern Illinois College in 2024 and Navarro College in 2025.

Before arriving at UMFK, Stephenson competed for Frazsier Whip Football Club and earned Most Valuable Player honors in an under-20 competition. Her proudest athletic accomplishment was winning Jamaica’s Women’s Premier League. The championship is especially meaningful to Stephenson because, as she puts it, she simply loves to win.

Away from soccer, Stephenson enjoys playing video games and watching Masha and the Bear. She supports her teammate Chelsea, and her favorite meal is coconut curry shrimp with white rice.

Her personal motto reflects the competitive mentality she brings to the field: “Winners never quit, and quitters never win.”
