Christopher McKenzie
My name is Christopher McKenzie, and I am a student-athlete from Kingston, Jamaica, currently competing for the University of Maine at Fort Kent men’s soccer team. I play as both a left and right winger, and while my natural strength is my left foot, I am confident and effective using both feet.
As a member of the Class of 2029, I strive for excellence both on the field and in the classroom. I currently maintain a 3.6 GPA while pursuing a degree in Business Management, and I take pride in bringing the same discipline, commitment, and work ethic to my academics as I do to soccer.
My freshman season was a significant milestone in my career, as I was honored to be named the University of Maine at Fort Kent Freshman of the Year and a First Team All-American. These accomplishments reflect the dedication, perseverance, and passion I bring to the game every day, while also motivating me to continue improving and reaching new levels.
I consider myself a hardworking, coachable, and team oriented player who values discipline, consistency, and continuous growth. Whether creating goal-scoring opportunities, taking on defenders in one on one situations, or contributing defensively, I am committed to making a positive impact in every match. My goal is to continue developing as both a player and a person while competing at the highest level and representing my team, my family, and my country with pride.
