On Nov 11th the Bengals start off Nationals by facing Bluefield State. Entering Nationals as the #1 seed, the Bengals step on the field with everything to prove why they are #1 in the tournament. The Bengals absolutely dominated with their intensity and kept the ball for the majority of the possessions. The Bengals beat Bluefield State 3-1.
INSIDE THE MATCH
Right out of the gate, Sophia Noe was able to get the shot off early and scored the first goal of the game at 3:45. That goal set the tone for the Bengals as they played aggressively but with poise to keep the lead.
As for the second half, Giizela Carranza was able to find Brittney Thompson for another goal, pushing the game to 2-0 at 68:59. For the final goal of the game, Naylea Mendoza hustled hard down the field and was able to find Jordan Maxwell for a 3rd goal at 87:56. Great job for the Bengals as they hold on to their #1 seed.
