Lillian Clarke

Lillian Clarke brings extensive experience from Jamaican football, having competed at the U14, U17 and U20 national levels. In 2023, she was named the Most Valuable Player of the Reina’s Cup. She competed for the school's football team and developed her game through Reina's Academy and Mona Academy before coming to UMFK.

Being selected as the Reina’s Cup MVP remains Clarke’s proudest athletic accomplishment. The recognition was especially meaningful because her focus throughout the tournament was on leading and supporting the younger players on her team. She wanted them to experience the feeling of winning a championship while learning that success is built through hard work, dedication and belief in one another. Watching those players grow and seeing the team’s work produce a championship made her individual honor even more rewarding.

Away from soccer, Clarke enjoys sleeping and listening to music. Her favorite television program is My Wife and Kids, she supports Arsenal Football Club, and her favorite foods are stew peas and oxtail.
