Boston, MA -

Today, the Bengals dropped their match against East Nazarene College’s Lions. In their first set of the day, the Bengals showed true resilience in battling against the Lions but came up short, losing the set 24-26 (Lions). Entering their second match, the Bengals started to crumble, giving up another set 10-25. Coach Kelley then brought the team together and reminded them to stay focused and to work together as a team. With great motivation, the team once again rallied together, with Halle Ham putting her defensive skills to the test, earning 19 digs; Heather Harness was full of steam, earning 7 kills, as well as Abigail Thompson earning 6 kills. Today, the Bengals were just off their mark as they had lost the final set 18-25.

A tough day indeed, but the Bengals will surely bounce back.

The Bengals head to Bangor on Oct 12th, to play the Husson Eagles.
