Kelly O’Leary

Kelly O'Leary enters his 1st season as the inaugural head golf coach at UMFK in 2026. He brings a deep skill set and experience to UMFK and provides another pathway for student athletes to learn and grow through golf.

An Alumni of UMFK, Kelly is excited to return and build a competitive golf program and add value to the UMFK students experience.

He is a certified Golf Teaching Professional and was Head Golf Professional at the Fort Kent Golf Course for 10 years. He currently coaches the Valley High School Golf team at Fort Kent as well as coaches the Fort Kent girl’s basketball team at the high school. He has over 20 years coaching experience combined with playing at a high level over 30 years.

A native of Allagash Maine, Kelly was a collegiate basketball player at UMFK, earning a Bachelor of Computer Applications. Kelly resides in Wallagrass Maine with his wife Joanne and they have 3 grown children and 3 grandkids.
