UMFK Opens Season with a Victory

The University of Maine at Fort Kent Men’s Basketball team began their regular season with a notch in the win column. During the first day of the Villa Maria College tournament in Buffalo, NY, the Bengals defeated Bryant and Stratton College of Rochester in a close game. The Bengals were finally able to pull away in the final minutes as the full-court zone press of UMFK began to wear on their opponent. The Bengals take on the host Villa Maria Vikings on Saturday evening.
