The Bengals kick off Nationals in Virginia Beach against D’Youville for the first game of the pool play. Ranked at #1, The Bengals looked to play aggressively as they kept the tempo of the entire match. Ultimately, the Bengals won their first match of Nationals 3-0.

INSIDE THE MATCH

The Bengals kept the majority of the possessions during the game, with 19 shots in the first half and 15 shots in the second. D’Youville managed to get off just 5 shots as our defensive end put a major stop to all of their advances.

The first goal of the game was scored by Adil Igggoute, who earned 1st All-American from the USCAA Awards the night before. John Amoah assisted Adil with a long-range kick over the opponent at 17:41. The Bengals entered the half 1-0.

Into the second half, the Bengals were ready to put the game away. Ronaldo Watson dribbled hard through D’Youville and was once able again to find Adil Iggoute, who scored the goal, pushing the game to 2-0 at 86:16. The final goal of the game was also scored by Adil Iggoute who had just absolutely dominated with his amazing striking skills. Bengals won 3-0.

We look forward to watching the Bengals finish up their National Journey as they look to play Bryant Stratton Albany in the 2nd pool play of the USCAA National Tournament.
