Bengals Suffer Worst Defeat of Season

The UMFK Women’s Basketball team could not shake off their shaky start as they lost to Division III NESCAC Conference opponent, Wesleyan College, on Tuesday evening 72-46. The Bengals struggled against the size of Wesleyan and could never get the needed rebounds to start their fast break attack; Trinity Washington led all Bengal scorers with 15 points, and Ivette Trujillo played admirably inside with 10 points. The Bengals move further South on their extensive road trip, where they take on Penn State Schuylkill on Thursday evening.
